I know we are probably ready to put this chapter behind us but for the next few days, this will be my screensaver. These men are heroes in the sense that they left very successful and lucrative careers to put their country first and fulfill their obligations when they could have easily thrown their weight around and gotten out of it. Instead they chose to be role models, brave soldiers who took control of their own fate. These two in particular changed history by being the first Idols to enlist together. They gave a hearty FUCK YOU to everyone who didn’t agree with them and they did what they wanted to do.

People can blame km supporters all they want for the vitriol surrounding these two but the truth is- your fight is with them- not us. We are powerless observers. Our only sin has been to love them no matter what. They made the choices that were right for them and they chose each other. I don’t know what the future holds for them but I can say for sure that I am honored to be their fan. I pray for nothing but the best for them. As for me, I’m going to hold on this pic just a little while longer as my screen saver as a reminder of the incredible feat they just accomplished. This is a beautiful day.
