Make it stop! These ideas in my brain just won't stop. I get triggered by the simplest things.
Hi Friends;
I have been in a battle with the company who hosts this site because I want to see more upgrades and better features for reading long text content. I have written email after email with unsolicited feedback on what I think this site needs.
But in the interum while they are mulling over my suggestions, I have been working really hard to "break" the system including coding index links to skip between chapters, providing links to forms to leave likes and comments on each chapter, and providing tricks for bookmarking.
In addition, I have been going crazy with coding new graphics to make the pages pop and make the story more interactive and engaging. I think it is making a difference, but I need to hear from you.
Has the reading experience improved with my new changes and enhancements? Please vote yes or no.
I just want to stop in and say thank you for your comments on Spare. I love hearing your wow moments and things that shocked you or scared you or pissed you off. I love the breakdowns of how many meatballs were thrown and the true definitions of narcissists. I love every word that you offer to me and I cherish them like small nuggets of gold.
2025 has not been kind to me. I'm going through a personal hell. My father continues to have medical issues and I had to recently put him into an assisted living home. He continues to curse me everyday and he pretty much hates me because of it. But it was the only way to keep him safe bc he had to have professional help.
My job is at risk due to a buy out and I am worried that I may end up unemployed so that is heavy on my mind. My little sister - my fave person in the world- was just diagnosed with a debilitating form of multiple sclerosis. I'm traveling back and forth to care for both her in DC and my dad in Georgia and it's wreaking havoc on my own personal health and well being. When I'm not around, please don't think I just disappeared, I'm usually traveling between states.
But what keeps me going and keeps me motivated is writing for you and when you leave comments and talk to me about my work it just gives me life. I escape into my stories quite a bit which is why I'm producing so many fics these days. I'm just so excited to have comments to read and respond to. I promise to read them all and please know you can leave them here or in AO3, I will see them either place. I wish I could hug each of you. Thank you for being my heart menders. I just love you more than words can explain. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
